The easiest yogurt parfait recipe and why Martin’s Apple Chips makes the perfect snack

Martin's Apple Chips
This post is sponsored by  Martin’s Apple Chips in which I have been monetarily compensated and received product samples. The opinions in the post are entirely my own.

I have been a fan of Martin’s Apple Chips before I had kids. Picking up a bag was an obvious choice when I was buying an afternoon tea at my local Starbucks. I get to have my apple fix for the day, while enjoying a crunchy, tasty and healthy snack without the guilt (like when I eat a bag of potato chips).

Now with kids, I am more mindful of the snacks that I buy for the household. To me, Martin’s Apple Chips makes the perfect snack for the whole family. Why?

They are tasty! Taste is super important in our household. Who wants a healthy snack if it’s not delicious?! They are 100% dehydrated apples and they taste like apples with a natural sweetness. Plus, they are crunchy which makes them extra yummy and fun to eat! They come in 4 flavours -original, cinnamon, chocolate drizzle and caramel-dream! All good in their own way!

They are healthy and a convenient snack choice! Martin’s Chips are made with fresh-picked apples from Martin’s Farm with no preservatives or sugar added. They are simplicity at its best! I like that the chips come in variety of package sizes. The small bags are great for adding to my daughter’s school snacks.

I love Martin’s Apple snacks so much that I donated some to my daughter’s class to distribute to the kids. The teacher and kids were thrilled!

I get to support a local business! Martin’s apple chips are made by apples grown by a Canadian farm family in Waterloo, ON. The apples are picked from the orchards and processed in their own plant.

Also, the chips make great food pairings. Check out Martin’s Apple Chips website for food ideas, including charcuterie boards, dips, and ice cream toppings.

RECIPE:

Here is my recipe for a yogurt parfait with cherry jam and Martin’s Apple Chips.

The best part of this recipe is that all the ingredients are easily found at any grocery store. I used the original flavour of the apple chips but feel free to change the apple chip flavour or jam of your choice.

Martin’s Apple chips stay crunchy in the yogurt even with the toppings on it, which gives the parfait extra texture and depth. I used pre-toasted and salted walnuts, but feel free to toast whatever nuts you have at home like peanuts, pecans, or almonds.
