[Product Review] Get 3 Free Plates at www.OneKitchen.ca

I recently did a full product review for One Kitchen, a new meal delivery kit company (One Kitchen review) in the GTA. After trying out 6 meals in total, I had a great feel for their consistency and food quality. I haven’t tested every meal delivery company out there, but I know a great company when I see one. One Kitchen is my favourite meal subscription company so far.

One Kitchen- Preparing ingredients

What’s important to me when choosing a meal delivery company is how the final dish tastes and if the portion sizes are filling for me. Mainly, I want to figure out if I would get my money’s worth for the convenience.

One Kitchen states that the ingredients are “fresh local ingredients”, with specialty ingredients handpicked from farms. It’s nice to know that I am eating healthy meals with quality ingredients.

I do not like to follow recipes often, but I can quickly scan through their pictured recipe guides once and prepare the dishes with ease. I did go off-course at times to speed things up by using my rice cooker or my pressure cooker for selective ingredients, rather than the stove top method as suggested.

In September, I made Spinach and Fettuccine with Beef Meatballs, Mint Chicken Breast with Prune Sauce and Mashed potatoes, and a Sesame Chicken Stir Fry. I was impressed with how moist the meatballs were in the pasta dish. I was a little taken back at first when I read prune sauce for the chicken, but it was delicious and came out similar to a chutney. The sesame chicken noodle dish actually took 15 minutes to make as the recipe guide had suggested, and the sauce was tasty with soy sauce, sesame oil and lemon juice. Those are ingredients that I typically use to make my noodle dishes and knew it would turn out great.

HOW TO GET 3 FREE PLATES FOR FREE?

I know there is a lot of competition out there, but I highly recommend One Kitchen! They are still a new company, so I am sure there are things they still need to work out including having an affiliate program to help you earn free meals from referrals.

For now, you can use code: 1KFREE3. New customers will receive 3 meals free on their first box.

Check out their website https://www.onekitchen.ca/ for more details including the pricing and their delivery area within the GTA

* Disclosure: The meals were complimentary but the opinions in the post are my own.
